a know, I totally forgot about it, and I didn't even realize it until someone else mentioned that their birthday was coming up... but my birthday is coming up in just 5 days! Wow, that just snuck up on me! I'm gonna be 25... that means I'll be able to rent cars without some ridiculous surcharge! Woohoo! I have a feeling that I'll be flying to Vegas a lot more often now that I can rent a car for cheap when I get there! And, if you feel so inclined to satisfy my greedy desires, here's my amazon wishlist. Please oh please someone buy me the Canon XL1S!!!!
In other news, you may have heard of this ice cream machine that Cami got, and I sure gotta say, ice cream with fresh, fresh strawberries sure does taste good! Yum yum! I can't wait to try any other flavors that may be created in that contraption... but it sure does make a lot of ice cream at once!
And now for rant mode. Girls -- why do you feel compelled to tell your now-friend guys about the time you would have hooked up with them, but didn't/wouldn't/couldn't? I know you may think that it might make the guy feel better, you know, flattering them with the notion that you wanted them at some time... but I don't know if I speak for all men here, but it just makes us feel horrible... considering missed opportunities and all that. So the next time you feel compelled to "encourage" a guy by letting them know these things -- remember that they may not interpret it quite the way you envision it.
OK enough of that, I'm starting to sound like Josh!!!

eeez, what a freakin' pain in the ass! My main computer's hard drive had not been reformatted in probably like 4 years... and over the course of that time, it has been upgraded from windows 95 to windows 98 to windows 2000, with all that old crap in there, and leftover junk from programs I literally hadn't used in years. My computer was acting weird. Trillian would crash every time it connected to AIM, my Winamp couldn't successfully go from one song to the next in a playlist... lots of little bugs like that going on.
So I figured it was high time to reformat and reinstall windows. I think i started on this endeavor at around 4pm. This should have been pretty routine, but damn... well, the reformatting part went very smoothly. But my computer would keep freezing during the installation process. After several failed attempts (each attempt took about 15 minutes), I thought that it could possibly be that my power supply was going bad, since it didn't freeze at the same spot every time. So I swapped it out. Still hung, twice. So finally I removed all nonessential hardware from my computer. Then it installed.
I think the culprit was the firewire card that I had in there (which I left out since I only use my macintosh for video editing now). But whatever. It wasn't until around 10pm that I got win2k fully running with all updates and patches. But now things seem to be running very smoothly, and are getting back to order, and those little glitches I had before are now fixed, and I have a whole lot more free disk space now.
One unfortunate side effect in all of this is that I have lost a few of you guys' Casino Diaries accounts, so if yours does not seem to be working anymore, email me with your username and password and I'll reset it for you.
In other news, someone is stealing images from my web server, and linking to them directly from their site. My final course of action will be decided early tomorrow afternoon. I've given them warning to discontinue the practice, but if they do not comply, well, I will take some drastic measures.

lease don't steal images from my photo galleries. You know how I say I will find out if you do? Well, I will. And if you do steal my images, please at least have the decency to at least not link directly to them off my server, thus eating away at my bandwidth. If you do, I may do this to you SEVERE WARNING DON'T CLICK ON THIS. Those guys directly linked to that turntable pic I took and used it as the background for their page. I asked them to take it down, but got no response so, I retaliated. Don't mess with me.
In other news, there's some new reviews on my DVD Review. Oh and finally... that korean soccer chick is a girl after all.
