  have been pretty quiet this week... that's because I have been busy preparing things for the RBP meet in Vegas this weekend... and I've been even more pressed for time because I'm going to arrive there a few days early... in fact, I'm leaving for Vegas tomorrow morning! Vegas, baby, Vegas!! The anxiety I had about this event being too big to handle has subsided and been replaced with excitement, even if I am going to be very busy during the weekend... I can't wait!
This was something worth chuckling about: The Travel Channel rates Casino Royale as the #1 Best Place To Strike It Rich!! Hahaha. And this is on a global level! My regular readers will know that I stay there frequently, but I always complain about how crappy it is... it really is a motel casino, not a hotel casino... The article does note, however, "if gamblers are looking for luxurious Las Vegas accommodations, however, the best bet is to look elsewhere."
It's even funnier to me because over the last 12 months I have definitely not struck it rich there, and have lost quite a bit of money there. Of course, I have made it back at other places, but I have never been very lucky at that specific place.
Welp, in this last bit of news before I go to bed, I have made a change in the way the Turtle Cam images are served. I think it will serve us all better overall. The previous method was a real drain on my upload speed, 24 hours a day. Anyway. See you in Vegas!
