K, so there is no Tiki Party video because well, I just didn't really get much video at all to work with, but the party was a blast. You can find pics at the Tiki Party web page (the link to which is in last week's update). We had all kinds of decorations, including some awesome 4 foot tall tiki god posters created by the ever talented Jeff, my aquarium screensaver-type DVD playing on the TV, and some swank lounge music going on.
Meanwhile in the other room (that's right, a two-room party!) was the casino with me dealing blackjack for the first half of the night and craps for the second half (which is why I didn't get much video to work with). But hey, to get that real casino feeling, you need more than just a blackjack table, so I went and rigged up a 4 channel surround sound setup playing a custom made audio loop of... you guessed it, casino background noise!
And a whole heck of a lot of people showed up, and everyone had a great time, and yeah, if you didn't come out, you really missed out on a lot of fun, in my opinion.
Other than that, there hasn't been a whole lot going on, just working, and more GTA:VC. I'm up to 94% complete (for everything in the whole game, not just the missions) now. Also, I was originally planning on heading out to Vegas this weekend, but I cancelled those plans, but I think pretty soon I'm going to have to give myself a nice 4-night excursion to the city of sin.
I've been falling behind on my DVD Reviews too... just been kinda busy, really. I did buy Star Wars Episode 2, but I haven't gotten around to reviewing it yet. But I will, really, I will.
