That is right! It's FINALS WEEK!! Some people dread it. Some people don't mind it much. Some people get stressed beyond their minds. Some people don't. But for just about everyone it means... JUST A FEW DAYS UNTIL FREEDOM!!!
Monday
Monday. The day of my dreaded hardest finals of all. That's right folks, Humanities and Physics on the SAME DAY! One right after the other even! The worst part is since they are the two hardest ones and they are on the first day, that leaves me with only half of the already limited time to study for each of them!!
Of course *I* don't study. I prepare. Somehow "study" seems to be related to "stress", which is not part of my vocabulary. Of course not.
Anyways, on to how they went. Humanities? I finished in record time. My TA looked at me funny as I handed her the blue book. She said "You don't need any more time??". I couldn't have possibly used more time. I was so unprepared that I had nothing to say. Not good... not good.
So then what. I went to my Physics final. I guess I did better on the final than I did on most of my quizzes, but that doesn't really say much now, does it? I did study very hard for physics though. Spent most of my Sunday doing that.
After that, I got to relax, knowing that the worst of it was over.
Tuesday
Tuesday was mostly rest and relaxation for me. Though I did study a bit for my CSE 20 final which is on wednesday, and also is my last final. That's about all I got to say about that.
Wednesday
YES YES YES YES YES!!! finals are OVER! Ladies and gentlemen, that is correct... WINTER BREAK HAS NOW BEGUN!!!
Well, it has for me, but there are still a lot of stressin' people here... which doesn't leave me with anyone to play with. Oh well. Because of that i spent most of my day after my CSE 20 final cleaning my room.
CLEANING MY ROOM!?!?!?!? My mother would be surprised to read this, but she won't read this because she has no internet access. But my room is clean. Today I stood in parts of my room that I havn't been able to stand in for a few months!! My room is CLEAN. Funny how my room looks a lot bigger now. Tomorrow I will move on to the living room, which has gotten pretty messy as well. Tomorrow I will also be checking in to work. Yeah. Money. Money money money. Money is cool.
And I think that's about all I have to say about that.
Thursday
Thursday. Did I do anything on thursday? Nothing I really remember, actually. Not during the day anyways except for a little shopping at UTC for a birthday present for Cindy. At night, however, a few things happened.
Around 7:30 or so, a bunch of us (Chelsie, Julie, Aamir, Amanda, Tracy, Kenny, and myself) went to T.G.I. Fridays to celebrate Cindy's birthday. Of course, Cindy didn't know we were going to celebrate her birthday, she thought that everyone was there to celebrate their finishing finals (even though Ken and Aamir weren't done yet).
After that, Ken and I went to visit our friends living in Discovery Hall in the 250's where we had sort of a little gift exchange, though many of us didn't get the chance to buy gifts for other people. And for some reason Ken and I were treated as a unit. We thought that was interesting. We're not "Bryan" and "Kenny", we are "Bryan and Kenny". Hmmm. Since Ken had a psych final on friday and I had a really big headache, we went home shortly after that. It was a pleasant little gift exchange.
Friday
Friday morning I woke up very early (early for not having anything to wake up for, anyways) because April wanted to buy a present for Kevin but she had a final at 11:30am, so had to go earlier than that. Since she needed a ride and it was early, she offered to buy me breakfast in exchange for the service, so naturally I accepted (how could I refuse FOOD??). So went to UTC. Then I went back home, did a bit of cleaning. Then I developed the roll of film that had that sunset on it, and boy did those pictures come out GOOD!!
Shortly after seeing the pictures, Ken drove home for the winter.
Then I went back to campus because Tam and Celine wanted to go ice skating or something. Or they said they wanted to go. Then we went down to PB because Celine wanted to get her eyebrow pierced again, but it wasn't ready yet or something so she couldn't do it. Then we drove back to campus because Tam had to get her stuff because I was taking her to the airport so she could fly home. So we went to the airport and sent her off.
When I came back to campus to drop Celine off, I went to find Mateen who is staying with me during the winter to give him the key because I wanted to visit my parents and drive up to LA that night, so I did that.
No one was still around, and we were hungry, so Celine and I went to IHOP to eat dinner. And I dropped her off (yet again) and then went to Warren college to pick up Alex who got a ride from me back to his home for the winter.
Saturday
Boring. Vacation is boring. Always is. Didn't do nothin'. Well, that's not true. I went to buy my cousin Michael a birthday present. His party was that night at Gladstone's at Universal City Walk. I thought the Gladstone's in Malibu is much better. Then we went to my grandmother's house to open presents and stuff, ya know? That was about it.
Sunday
Sunday I went to GKC in the morning, then hung out with Ken for the rest of the day. Not much. Just a regular slow vacation type day.
