Ooops. I missed a week. Oh darn. That's ok though. It wasn't all that exciting ;)
Monday
Today after class I went out and bought a bunch of parts for Heidi's computer. Unfortunately there is something wrong with something in the hardware that keeps causing the computer to lock up, and no it is not of my doing. I will take it to the store to find out what happened.
I had dinner at Black Angus... prime rib, shrimp, and lobster. Sounds good, dunnit?? That's about it.
Tuesday
For a moment i thought that maybe the memory was not working with the processor so I got new stuff.... but the same thing is happening. We tested the processor it and it was OK. Must be the mother board. Great. I don't want to change that. Oh well.
I cut my hair really short today. I guess I don't look like my pictures any more.
That's all I got to say about that.
Wednesday
Cindy saw my new haircut. I wasn't sure if she liked it or not. She wasn't sure either.
You know, I am writing this on Sunday, so I don't really remember much about it.
Thursday
After ditching most of my classes, I went shopping with Cami for a nice coat to wear because later I was going to fly to San Jose International Airport because I am visiting a friend of mine at Stanford University, and I heard that it was cold and I didn't have any warm clothes. So I bought a black raincoat. And a pair of pants. And the pants weren't black. Wow.
I also had lunch at Coco's with Cami. Then I got a ride from Kenny to the airport. And i got on the plane. And I flew.
This girl from San Diego was visiting her friends in San Jose. She sat next to me on the plane. I don't think she get's out much. Or it didn't seem that way.
Flying over San Jose, I noticed that there were not as many lights as there are in LA or San Diego. At the airport, I hopped on a shuttle and rode over to Leland Stanford Junior University. On the way I passed by Castilleja School, where Amy Chow went.
I also saw a fatal accident on the street. Kinda cool.
And I saw Stanford Stadium which until then I had never seen except on TV.
Well, I got to Julie's dorm, and they were having a little semi-formal event, good thing I was dressed almost semi-formal. After that we took a little walk around the campus, which I got to see... but it was dark, so I couldn't really see it.
Even though it was night time, I already noticed that there were a lot of people riding bikes here. I heard about that.
It is very different. Yeah.
Friday
Friday during the day, nothing really exciting happened. At night I got to meet a lot of Julie's friends, and we hung out with them. A lot of people were playing Warcraft II on the campus network. On friday night. And I thought UCSD was a super-nerd school :)
I went to a gymnastics meet, #1 UCLA vs. #11 Stanford University. It was pretty cool, both teams were really good, Stanford had this one girl that was really good, but they just didn't have the depth of the UCLA team, so UCLA won. There was this one cute girl on LA's team. Too bad I will never meet her.
Saturday
Saturday. I woke up. I ate. I took a shower. I read some of my Humanities reading. We went to me supermarket. And I went to Big 5, which was nicer than any Big 5 I've ever seen in southern California.
People were still playing warcraft. We ordered chinese delivery. I got Mu-Shu pork. It was pretty good.
Hung out with some more people. Read some more. Had a nice discussion. Went rollerblading.
Did I mention that it's cold here? Even people from BOSTON were complaining that it's cold. That's pretty cold.
Sunday
Augh. I watched THE ONE slip through my fingers.
She was right there in the computer cluster, but just as I was about to get up and talk to her, 2 people simultaneously decided to want to ytalk with me, and i didn't want to be rude so I talked to them. And when they were done... SHE was GONE.
I have nothing more to say about this horrid day.
