Monday
Welp, the CAPE book is due at the publishers in a week and a few days, so things will start getting pretty hectic at work.
Today was a semi-crappy day, I guess. Work was pretty boring, some guy took everything home so there pretty much wasn't anything to do. The water was choppy but not as crowded, so the surf was pretty mediocre. I ordered a pizza from Pizza Hut and it never came. Supposedly the person couldn't find my apartment. So I went down to Pizza Hut and gave them a map of how to get here so that next time it wouldn't happen. They gave me my pizza for free anyway even though it was like 2 hours old by then. Then while I was putting the box in my fridge, I hit my head really hard on the freezer handle. That sucked.
I just finished putting draino down the drain, now it runs better. Good thing too.
This past weekend, Zac, Ken, William, Jeff, Walter and his friend and Cindy came down. We went to the beach, we went to the cliffs. We went to eat, and we went to play video games.
We also saw a Ferrari F355 Spider, (yellow, just like in The Rock) and he saw us checking out his car so he revved it and we cheered. It was fun, I guess. Nothing like the shriek of a Ferrari engine...
I heard today that Tim Robbins (the Shawshank Redemption dude) bought a house in La Jolla, near where I live. I guess I'll be hanging out at Ralph's a lot. Even rich people and actors need to buy groceries... after all, that's where the F355 we saw the other day went to.
Actually, I see a lot of cool cars at that Ralphs. Aside from the normal array of Porsches, BMW 3, 5, 7 & 8's, and Mercedes E, S, SL's we see, I've seen there 2 F355's besides the yellow one (red, and blue, both spiders), a 456GT, a 512TR, several vintage restored Porsche roadsters (like Dylan from 90210), a Viper GTS (blue w/ white stripes), a Viper RT/10 (red), and a DeLorean (like in Back to the Future). Who knows what else I've seen there.
I've also heard that a lot of cool people shop there, though I've never seen anyone I recognized inside there. I also heard that Blockbuster Video in the plaza that I live in gets frequented by famous people. I heard that Junior Seau was spotted here once. I think Doogie Howser rents videos there too. I also heard that a couple of people from Melrose Place go the Blockbuster in Costa Verde center (where McDonalds and the Shell Station and Albertson's) is, though I've never seen anyone I recognized over there either.
Seems like everyone sees famous people around here but me :)
Thursday
Things are winding down here at CAPE... we have just about a week before it's done! The other day I went down to Blacks Beach. The waves are big there but it's pretty damn hard to get there so I don't think I'll be going back there for a while.
Today I went to Malibu Grand Prix, because I found out that they have a College Club discount.
That's about all I have to say, I guess.
